32 Scifi Weapons

Scifi is good but sometimes you want something weirder and more fun than just bullets and lasers, so here are some weird fun things. If you want to throw a future assassin at your players or your characters trying rolling this to pick a cool signature weapon for them. 

1. Pressurized nozzles with abrasive injectors that focus blood or fuel into liquid cutting streams in emergencies. 
2. Sword with hollow inside and spool of monomolecular wire in the hilt, shoots out threads of wire when swung, allowing it to cut things at a distance like one of those anime air-slash techniques. 
3. Magnetic conductive adhesive bombs, stick to targets and make it possible to toss them around with electromagnets, explode if the target tries to pry them off. 
4. Wasp knife with jet engine intake that sucks in air to refuel itself. 
5. Electrified rocket bolas with magnetized tips. 
6. Railpiston fists. Like a pile bunker put with punching and driven by electricity. 
7. Experimental probability calculator software combined with “nudge” nanites that float around the user and use pinpoint microexplosions to influence outcomes. 
8. Vibrating cutting wire traps, not monomolecular but still pretty
9. Magnetized projectiles that project laser beams used to create grids of electrolasers. 
10. Spear that injects microexplosives into targets. 
11. Spool of magnetized detonation cord used to make whips and lassos. 
12. Nanothorn smoke sprayer, slices apart anything it touches on a molecular level. 
13. Massive vibrating greatsword made of solar panels. 
14. Gigantic electromagnetic hammer. 
15. Enormous, very solid but gimmick-less club. 
16. Giant club indistinguishable from 15 but filled with hidden weapons. 
17. Double barreled gun that shoots pellets of chemicals that combine into chlorine triflouride when they contact each other. 
18. Gigantic artillery cannon, weighs nothing due to being mostly made from negative matter. 
19. Gigantic hands with huge fingers that launch shotgun pellets. 
20. Portable antimatter synthesizer. 

And here are some softer ones:

1. Spear with gravity controls. Do fun final fantasy dragoon stuff. 
2. Tuning fork-shaped sword, calculates the exact frequencies needed to collapse things to calibrate its vibrations. 
3. Paired explosive harpoon pistols with underbarrel wormhole projectors. 
4. Deflector shield with blurred edges that push anything they touch in opposite directions, ripping it apart. 
5. Gravity well gauntlet with pile bunker attached that drags in targets and then impales them. 
6. Boots that allow the wearer to jump forward in time, vanishing completely and reappearing seconds or minutes later. 
7. Two-dimensional sword. Invisible when seen edge-on. Can’t actually cut things, but can slip harmlessly inside of them. Made of highly conductive metal with a power generator in the hilt, user uses it to electrify people’s insides. 
8. Four-dimensional sword. Hurts to look at. User inevitably goes insane. 
9. Seebecknium-barreled railgun. Feeds off its own exhaust heat and has effectively infinite energy. Very expensive and very illegal. 
10. Bullets made of magic quantum material that duplicate themselves across every potential path they could have taken after being shot. 
11. Monomolecular origami. 
12. Entropy-reversing nanites. Can perform complex operations without the overheating problem. Can turn off their cooling system to blow themselves up in a sudden surge of heat.
